At the Arlington Report’s Candidate Forum for the Municipal Election, Rojo said that he wants to build trust between first responders and the community and affordable housing for workers, particularly first responders, as Arlington enters its big city era.
Rojo was recognized for his inclusive campaign, saying "it is important that the city has queer people and people of color on its committees and councils, as they are underrepresented by the current members."
Rojo mobilized hundreds of Arlington residents to the hearings on mid-decade redistricting to demand fairer maps and proper representation.
Rojo organized students and advocated for access to polling locations on Tarrant County campuses (UTA, TCC, TCU).
Rojo honored Indigenous and Native American leaders in North Texas, bringing to light the issues that impact our community most to our state representatives.
Rojo informed and protected residents from the dangers of fracking near Arlington schools and childcare centers.
Rojo engaged with and registered hundreds of students and young people to vote across multiple elections.
Rojo has advocated for the reduction of methane and polluters, and accountability at the state level to protect the future of our families.
