I grew up believing in Arlington’s promise: that hard work, community, and compassion could build a city where everyone belongs. But today, that promise is slipping out of reach for too many families. Rising rent, uneven investment, and aging streets are forcing working people to pay more while getting less in return.
Arlington sits on a global stage. Our stadiums, entertainment district, and world-class events bring in millions, but those dollars must come back home. They should fund safer streets, reliable infrastructure, affordable housing, and neighborhood services that actually improve daily life for residents.
We don’t have to accept a city where opportunity depends on your zip code or income. We can build an Arlington where the American Dream is affordable—where families can stay, small businesses can grow, and public investments serve the people who make this city run.
This campaign is about choosing people over politics and neighborhoods over neglect. That's why I'm running for Arlington City Council District 4 to build a future where Arlington’s success is shared, our communities are cared for, and our city works for ALL OF US!

My name is Rogelio "Rojo” Meixueiro. I’ve spent my life organizing and advocating for our community. Working alongside neighbors, families, and friends, my aim is to make sure every voice is heard and every person is treated with dignity and respect.

My work has always been about bringing people together, from fighting for voting rights, affordable housing, or public school funding. I believe that when we stand up for one another, we build peace, strength, and hope in our communities.

I’m running for City Council because I know what we can achieve when we listen, work hard, and lead with compassion. Together, we can build a future for Texas that’s fair, affordable, and full of opportunity—for all of us.
